recent haul~and random stuff

So i shopped the style black collection twice! The first time i went was last week because the Nordstrom at my mall released the collection a week early so I had to get up on that black lipstick before it was sold out so i got the lipstick and the volcanic ash exfoliator which I have not tried but i will so I can review it! The second time I actually made an appointment to get my makeup done, so I can buy more stuff! So this time I got another exfoliator, the greasestick, 2 brushes, moisturizer, minerilzed skinfinish, girl friendly paintpot and the young punk eyeshadow from the collection. After coming home I realized that young punk has way to much glitter for me, the look I got done actually was done with that eyeshadow and another one from the collection but Im not too much into the glitter. The greasestick would not come off at the end of the night it took me forever to get it off, im not a big fan of pencil liners im more into the liquid ones. Anywho that was my haul for the past two weeks!

On another note I am overly obsessing over this essie nailpolish in chinchilly: my friend got this done for her mani and pedi and I fell in love so now im on the hunt for it!

Urban decay primer potion as a base

revlon matte vintage lace eyeshadow on lid

mac bloomcycle eyeshadow on the lid (from the fresh cut nordstroms anniversary pallete) 2nd color on top

mac fresh cut ont the outer corner (from the fresh cut nordstroms anniversary pallete) last one on the bottom right (bronze)

mac poppy noir on the crease (from the fresh cut nordstroms anniversary pallete) last one on the bottom left (brown)

this time i used no highlight because back on the mac class i took they said highlight is really a no no in the makeup world so i try not to do it to much, if you have watched kim kardashians makeup videos she also mentions and actually she says she hates when she sees people on the red carpet with makeup all the way up there lol

prepped Kim’s skin with Kiehl’s Ultra Facial Moisturizer first, followed by Diorskin Nude Natural Glow Hydrating Makeup all over. To set skin, applied a bit of Laura Mercier's Loose Setting Powder in Beige. Her brows are filled in with Diorshow Brow Styler Ultra-Fine Precision Brow Pencil, concentrating on the outer corners.
For her eyes, sprayed a bit of water on an eyeshadow brush (this picks up and holds loose eyeshadow better) and dipped it into Aquagirl eyeshadow by GIELLA - custom blended by mario her makeup artist, applied Aquagirl all over the eyelids up to the crease, blending well so there are no lines. On the inner corners of the eyes, apply GIELLA's b-dazzle eyeshadow. Use the leftovers on the brush to lightly sweep onto the brow bone. You dont want the brow bone to appear very shiny or light as it will look dated. Smoke Aquagirl shadow along the lower lash line as well. For more drama, you can take it all the way into the inner corners. Use Fascinating Eye Kohl by MAC on the inner rims of the eyes. Curl lashes a couple of times and apply two coats of Lancome Hypnose Mascara on top and bottom lashes. If you want super long lashes like Kim, apply a few individual long lashes to each eye. Kim's skin is bronzed with Casino by NARS. Use a bit on a brush and apply it along the hairline. With a smaller brush, apply more onto the hollows of the cheeks. Use Orgasm by NARS on the apples of the cheeks. To highlight the cheekbones and bridge of nose, I swept a tiny bit of b-dazzle shadow by GIELLA and blended with a clean brush. lined Kim's lips with Subculture by MAC, then blended a dab of the Dior foundation to her lips. Blot that with a tissue and use Honeylove Lipstick, also by MAC.

SO THIS WEEK I'VE BEEN RAMBLING AT THE MALL FOR CLOTHES AND MAKEUP. OF COURSE U KNOW I GOT SOME STUFF FROM THE BLACK COLLECTION AND I ACTUALLY WENT BACK THE DAY AFTER THAT AND GOT SOMETHING FROM THE TREND COLLECTION I ACTUALLY NEVER POSTED THIS COLLECTION IN THE SEPTEMBER RELEASES BUT THESE ARE THE PICS
I PURCHASED THE NEW BERRY WHICH IS THE BURGUNDY IN THE MIDDLE THE FIRST ONE IS GORGEOUS BUT I HAVE SO MANY SIMILAR TO THAT ONE THAT I PASSED ON IT I GUESS IF I HEAR GOOD REVIEWS ON IT ILL GO GET IT BUT FOR NOW IM OK WITH THE NEW BERRY IT WAS SOMETHING NEW TO ME SINCE I LOVE NUDE LIPS BUT THIS COLOR IS VERY VAMPY LOL IM NOT IN LOVE WITH IT BUT I THOUGH IT WAS SOMETHING TO ADD TO MY COLLECTION IF IT DONT WORK OUT THEN ILL JUST RETURN IT!

WHEN I WENT FOR MY NORDSTROM MAC BLACK PRE-SELL I RECOMMENDED BRITT THE NIGHT VELVET LIPSTICK FROM THAT COLLECTION AND SHE LOVED IT SO I GOT IT FOR HER AND THIS COLOR LOOKS AMAZING ON HER THESE DARK PLUMMY COLORS LOOK BETTER ON DARKER SKINNED AND I COULDNT FEEL EXTRA RIGHT WHEN I SAW BRITT POST HER PIC ON FACE BOOK I LOVED IT AND OBVIOUSLY SHE DID TOO
